Unfortunately, even though I changed the project to recognize the new library file, it would seem that each component in the system independently saves the location of the library file that it was originally imported from. Its still all the same component, though. DipTrace will actually import Altium component libraries, but when I try to export from Altium in the format DipTrace wants, it throws an invalid memory exception. When you bring that relay in, it should bring in 3 parts.the coil and 2 switches, just like when you bring in a dual op-amp, for example, its typically setup to bring in a part for the rails, and 2 seperate opamp parts. I changed the PCB and schematic projects to point to the new library location and can import components just fine, but I'd like to also get all of the old components to point to the newly moved library file in case I make changes to a given component I can then update it. The component and pattern libraries are good, help and support are good, and so far it looks like a nice alternative. Recently, I started work on this particular board again and I want to move my custom library out from the Diptrace library folder to my own folder (so can back it up easier and it won't be overwritten if I re-install Diptrace). Pattern Editor 1) Open the appropriate 'User Patterns' library in the Pattern Editor and add a new VQFN-46 pattern to it. Since the standard DipTrace libraries are locked and don't include the VQFN-46 pattern or LP5030 component, you will need to create your own. I built most of my components with a custom library that I had loaded into the default Diptrace library folder. Place the new STEP file into your custom 3D library folder. How to Add the Component Library to DipTrace - DIPTRACE SERIES - YouTube In this video, I will show you how to find the KG Component Library and how to add it to your DipTrace. Libraries are now broken into groups, separating the user libraries from the standard. I've got a schematic and board layout that I did a little while ago. The library management system has finally been completely revised.
